Mrs. Spadini listened carefully to the route taken by our study group and expressed his feelings after attending the trail Waste RiRiRi .
This was a project funded by the Region of Tuscany, which has seen the work the Laboratory of Environmental Education Gavorrano so far and the two associations and Spider Aman IPF Follonica.
The route involved 45 classes of elementary and middle schools in 6 municipalities of the Metalliferous Hills: Gavorrano (project leader), Scarborough, Follonica, Massa Marittima, Monterotondo Marittimo and Montieri.
attended by about 900 students and 90 teachers. The course was conducted during the past school year and ended a few days ago. During the activities the schools have succeeded in various meetings and other in-class travel in the area (for example, to visit the landfill site in Comnue Paganico mats, where they spilled the rubbish of all 28 municipalities of the Province of Grosseto: about 250 tons per day !!!).
The course is completed in each school with a meeting with the commissioners on the City. A Gavorrano, since there are no commissioners in office at the time, attended the school with the Dr. Elizabeth Lenz and Ms. Patricia Spadini Environment Office of the City.
